What Goes into a Web Design Project?
There are many tasks that must be completed in order to reach the final end product of a published website. Your site needs a web host, a domain name, professional web and image editing software, and gripping textual content.
How Much Will it Cost?
Unless you already have hosting and a domain name, you will need to purchase our Web Hosting and Website Maintenance service, which provides us with the “online property” we will be building your site on to. It is a yearly, recurring fee around $200/year, depending on the number of domain names you register. After that, we can get started with the design. Our developers charge $90/hour, and depending on your sites needs, a typical site will cost between $1,000 for a simple informational site, up to $4,000+ for sites with robust eCommerce, Membership, SEO, or a combination, of features.
How Do I Get Started?
It is recommended that our designer has a conversation with you regarding your sites needs and how much of the content you will be providing yourself. This helps us develop an accurate estimate for your project, which we submit for approval. Let us know as much information as possible regarding:
- What purpose your site will serve in your business model
- What sites you like, including colors, layouts, etc.
- How much of the textual content you will be writing yourself
- Will you be providing any of your own graphics, fonts, or images
- When do you want your site to launch
- Do you require a one time onsite SEO optimization, an ongoing offsite SEO campaign, or neither
